Day 5/366
Silkworms have dominated my life for the past eight weeks.
Today I counted the cocoons...699.
What you see above, on my dining table, only amounts to about a quarter of them!
Hi Laurie, these have been the bane of my life for the past 8 weeks! I purchased 15 silkworms last summer (for my grand daughter) and ended up with around 1000 babies! I have sold a few hundred silkworms and I have a couple of expressions of interest for eggs. I definitely will not be hatching eggs for myself next summer! I'm not sure what I'll be doing with the cocoons...take up spinning maybe! Thanks for dropping by...I'm enjoying the 366 day challenge!
OK - I must ask - what do you do with these? Do you sell them? I've never seen something like this - so intrigued! Great picture!!
